Setting Heartland apart from the competition, our data center facilities are physically located on premises at our corporate headquarters in Paducah, Kentucky. Our 25,000-square-foot facility is ideally situated on the Paducah Fiber Network and interconnected with AT&T, BellSouth, Level3, KDL, SBC (Southern Bell Companies), Verizon, and Windstream. As a result of our most recent expansion efforts, our facilities are equipped with a combined thoughput of 355 Mbps. This is achieved though two independent connections, one with AT&T and the other with Level3. Our two diverse paths to the Internet include an AT&T connection that is a dedicated OC3 (155 Mbps), and two 100 Mbps connections to Level3, thus providing you with the assurance of sustained uptime through fault tolerance.
Heartland is committed to utilizing only the finest in networking equipment and server systems. Our network is governed by the stability and reliability of equipment from proven manufacturers. Heartland utilizes Cisco™ routers and switches, Adtran muxing, MRV WDM Optical equipment, Lucent Optical and muxing equipment, ADC, Foundry switches, Dell Servers, plus other carrier grade equipment.

The Data Center itself is secure and monitored on a 24/7 basis, with escort-only access for visitors to our facilities. We are equipped with over 50 secure customer racks and cages, situated on 18-inch raised flooring and environmentally protected through a Halon fire suppression system. Each rack has it’s own individual Carrier Class UPS, and is powered redundantly with a Cummins Diesel Generator.
