Support mac 0sX TCP/IP settings

Mac OSX TCP/IP settings...

  1. Click the "Apple Menu". Click "System Preferences."  


  2. Double Click "Network".  


  3. Click the TCP/IP tab.
    • Set "Location:" to Automatic.
    • Set "Show:" to Modem Port.
    • Click the "TCP/IP" tab.
    • "IP Address:" is "(Provided by PPP Server)."
    • "Subnet Mask:" and "Router:" will also be provided by the server.
    • "Domain Name Servers" need to be typed in as:
      208.248.200.10
      208.248.200.15
    • Type in hcis.net for the "Search Domains"  


  4. Click the PPP tab.
    • Type in "Heartland" in "Service Provider:"
    • Type in the local dialup number in the "Telephone Number:" box given to you to connect to the internet.
      To find your Dialup Number, Click Here.
    • For the "Alternate Number:" you can try 5600 through 5603 for the last four digits. Your prefix should be the same as the "Telephone Number:".
    • "Account Name:" is your Username.
      (Should be lowercase and no spaces and should NOT include @hcis.net.)
    • "Password:" is your Password.
      (Should be lowercase and no spaces.)
    • Check "Save Password"  


  5. Now just Close the window and Save Changes.
