Create new dialer in Windows XP...

With a typical Windows installation connecting to the Internet is a simple matter of filling out a few forms within the built in "Network Connections" program.
  1. Click the Start Menu and open the Control Panel. 



  2. Click Network and Internet Connections. 


  3. Click Network Connections. 


  4. On the left hand side, click "Make a new connection"
    • Click Next


  5. Select Connect to the internet and Click Next


  6. Select Set up my connection manually and Click Next


  7. Select Connect using a dialup modem and Click Next


  8. Type in "Heartland" for the ISP Name and Click Next


  9. Type in the phone number to dial the internet. Click Next.

  10. Type in your username next to "User name:"
    • Type in your password next to "Password:"
    • Type in your password again for "Confirm password:"
    • Uncheck "Turn on Internet Connection Firewall for this connection"
    • Click Next


  11. Click Finish.
