Checking Outlook Express 6 settings...
- Click on Tools. Click on Accounts.

- Click the Mail tab.
- Make sure the Heartland mail account is highlighted.
- Click Properties on the right side.

- You're Name should appear next to "Name:".
- You're username@hcis.net should be next to "E-mail Address:" and "Reply Address:".
For example: johndoe@hcis.net
- Check "Include this account..."
- Click the Servers tab.

- "Incoming mail (POP3):" should be mail.hcis.net.
- "Outgoing mail (SMTP):" should be mail.hcis.net.
- "Account Name:" should have your username.
This should be in small case and no spaces.
- "Password:" should have your password.
This should be in small case and no spaces.
- Check "Remember password".
- Uncheck "Log on using Secure Password Authentication".
- Uncheck "My server requires authentication".
- Click the Connection tab.

- Uncheck "Always connect to this account using".
- Click OK.
- Click Close on the next screen.

- Click Tools.
- Click Options.

- Click the Connection tab.
- Check "Ask before switching dial-up connections."
- Uncheck "Hang up after sending and receiving."
- Click OK.

- Click the Security tab.
- Uncheck "Do not allow attachments to be saved..."
- Leave everything else as it is shown below or as standard.
- Click OK.
