Creating a new Outlook XP account...
- Click on Tools.
- Click on E-mail Accounts.
- Select the first option "Add a new e-mail account."
- Click Next.
- Select POP3.
- Click Next.
- Pur your full name in "Your Name:".
- Put in your username@hcis.net in "E-mail Accounts:"
- "User Name:" is your Username.
(Should be lowercase and no spaces and should NOT include @hcis.net.)
- "Password:" is your Password.
(Should be lowercase and no spaces.)
- Check "Remember password".
- Uncheck "Log on using Secure Password Authentication".
- "Incoming Mail Server:" is mail.hcis.net.
- "Outgoing Mail Server:" is mail.hcis.net.
- Click "More Settings".
- Put in your username@hcis.net in "Reply E-mail:".
- Click the "Connection" tab.
- Select "Connect using Internet Explorer's or a 3rd Party dialer".
- Click OK.
- Click "Next" on the next screen.
- Click Finish.
