MacOS 9 Remote Access settings...
- Click on your "Apple Menu."
- Go to "Control Panels."
- Click on "Remote Access."

- Make sure the arrow next to "Setup" is pointing down.
- Select "Registered User."
- Type in your username next to "Name:"
For example: jsmith
- Type in your password next to "Password:"
Should be in small case and no spaces.
- Check "Remember password"
- Uncheck "Use DialAssist"
- Type in the dialup number we gave you to connect to the internet.
To find the dialup number, CLICK HERE.
- Click Options.

- Click the Redialing tab.
- Turn "Redial:" OFF.

- Click the Connection tab.
- Uncheck everything.

- Click the Protocol tab.
- Check "Connect automatically when starting TCP/IP..."
- Check "Allow error correction..."
- Check "Use TCP header compression"
- Uncheck "Connect to a command-line host:"
- Click OK.
