Support mac 0s 9 TCP/IP settings

MacOS 9 Remote Access settings...

  1. Click on your "Apple Menu."
    • Go to "Control Panels."
    • Click on "Remote Access."  


  2. Make sure the arrow next to "Setup" is pointing down.
    • Select "Registered User."
    • Type in your username next to "Name:"
      For example:  jsmith
    • Type in your password next to "Password:"
      Should be in small case and no spaces.
    • Check "Remember password"
    • Uncheck "Use DialAssist"
    • Type in the dialup number we gave you to connect to the internet.
      To find the dialup number, CLICK HERE.
    • Click Options.  


  3. Click the Redialing tab.
    • Turn "Redial:" OFF.  


  4. Click the Connection tab.
    • Uncheck everything.  


  5. Click the Protocol tab.
    • Check "Connect automatically when starting TCP/IP..."
    • Check "Allow error correction..."
    • Check "Use TCP header compression"
    • Uncheck "Connect to a command-line host:"
    • Click OK.
